About This Hunt
Description of Hunt
You will have the opportunity to hunt two private ranches (35,000 acres) Tags in our units are very tough to draw, but there are a limited number of landowner vouchers available for the area, and due to the very limited draw in these units, there are some giant bucks that inhabit the area. We do spot and stalk when possible, or offer ground blinds over water holes.
This is a perfect option for a combo elk/pronghorn hunt and is perfect those early season elk hunters if they want to hunt elk in the mornings and evenings and hunt pronghorn in the middle of the day and early afternoon.
“All or part of this operation is conducted on Public Lands under special permit from the U.S. Bureau of Land Management.”

Additional Services
Game Processing
After the harvest, the guides will prepare your game for processing. All animals will be processed in the field, taken back to the ranch house at which time they will be skinned and caped and made ready for transport to the game processor. A local game processor offers limited custom game processing options and will freeze your game to prepare it for transportation back home. If driving out, bring large coolers as you will have a lot of meat, especially if you harvest multiple animals. You can purchase dry ice in Winter Park on your way back to Denver. If flying into Denver, you can make arrangements with the processor to ship your game back home. Just keep in mind it will be expensive as it has to be shipped via overnight delivery to get it into your freezer as quickly as possible.
