Our recent expansion includes a mountainous area with a very healthy goat population. We could have hunted in 2018 but chose instead to scout heavily and gain familiarity. We came away very encouraged and excited to get started in 2019!
In the past, we leased a territory with goats and were very successful taking 7 goats out of 11 hunts over a 3 year period.
As with any mountain hunt, it is in your best interest to be a fit as possible. You can expect lots of climbing with packs. While it is not too extreme for the average hunter we can’t stress enough to spend some time physically preparing.
“Guiding or hunting for mountain goats is my all time favorite adventure hunt. The rewards are equal to the challenges of successfully harvesting a mature billy goat. I very much look forward to sharing this adventure.” -- Outfitter

Our camps are off the grid, but we do have generators that can be used for charging devices, running sleep apnea equipment, etc.
We have a satellite phone that can be used to phone out and where we can check for messages for ourselves or our clients.
For this hunt, we will have a base camp with a wall tent and a wood heater. If necessary a spike camp will also be provided with dome tents and backpacking gear. The hunter should bring a good backpacking sleeping bag. A suggested equipment list will be provided.
Depending on your flight arrival time, we will either meet you at the airport and head out to camp, or you will have to take a cab to a hotel in Williams Lake and we will meet you there in the morning. Due to the remoteness of our camp, we do not transport clients at night. The cab fare and cost of the hotel and any other costs while in town will be the hunter’s responsibility.
