Our moose hunt starts with a flight into one of our fly-in only lakes or bush strips, with three travel options from there: horseback, boat or ATV. Add-on animals are available on all three types of hunts. We don’t like to put numbers on animals, and width is just one measurement. That being said, moose in our area average in the 55–60” range with a legitimate tape measure that starts at 0.
After flying in you may hunt right from the cabins, ride out to an outpost cabin, or pack up tents and spike out. This will depend on which camp you are at and what the game is doing. The horses allow you to access some incredible country. You may get up high and glass or stay low and call, or a combination of the two. This hunt is the most physically demanding as you will be required to walk your horses downhill, and the final stalk is usually done on foot. These hunts are 12 days in camp including travel days starting August 31st.
Once you land, you will stay in a cabin or established wall tent with a wood stove. You may end up calling right from the boat or walking to vantage points on shore and hunting there. While these can be the least physically demanding hunts, the farther you are willing to go ashore, the more country you open up. We start these 12-day hunts a little later than our horse hunts on September 5th.

To understand the vastness and scale of the Yukon, you’re going to have to adjust your expectations. The Yukon’s size is like adding Oregon and Idaho together, then subtracting 99.994 percent of the population. After that, carve out an area the size of New Jersey, remove the towns and pavement and you’ve got the area.
We have the exclusive guiding rights to a little over five million acres of wilderness in the south-central Yukon. This area includes parts of the Cassiar and Pelly mountains as well as too many water bodies to count. With licensed camps scattered throughout the concession, we can spread out our hunters to give everyone the best opportunity at the best game. We plan to harvest well under our generous quota to maintain high trophy quality.

This is a fly-in, wilderness hunt. Lodging will vary depending on what type of hunt and what the game is doing. It could be a remote cabin with a stove, a wall tent with a stove, or a pup tent. While we will make everything as comfortable as possible, our primary goal is to get the best game and it is all part of the adventure.
